The Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble winners were held in custody after their appearance on Wednesday and were later released on R1000 bail each, according to Sunday World.
According to the publication, police revealed that they arrested Tshabalala and Nkanyiso - who are dating - in Clairemont, Sophiatown after receiving a tip-off.
The statement read: “The K9 Unit was patrolling in the area when they received a tip from community member about a motor vehicle whose occupants were suspected of being in possession of drugs.”
“The police followed up the information and spotted the car. Two passengers were searched and found in the car in possession of ecstasy, dagga and dagga grinding machine. The value of the drugs is unknown.”
The case has been postponed until mid-March.
