After a well contested challenge in the Arena in the early afternoon, Big Brother announced Kat and Mandla as the winners of the individual (immune) challenges.
Shortly after the announcement, Kat celebrated in Christiano Ronaldo fashion, moving up and down but it was clear from some housemates’ expressions and body languages especially Lexi that they were not of a congratulatory spirit. Indeed, Kat left the ladies to bite their nails after what was termed as a close challenge, it wouldn’t be a surprise if some of them started insinuating that Kat didn’t deserve it.
For individual immunity Housemates, in their teams, stood in single file at the end of a rope running across the Arena. The first one in line sat inside a raft and had to hoist themselves, using the rope, to the opposite end of the Arena where a series of treasures chest were strewn. The girl and the boy who pulled themselves back to start the quickest and with treasure chest in hand won individual immunity.
Well, Mandla and Kat are now assured of safety this week. It couldn’t have come at the right time for Kat who has been very anxious about saving her neck this week, she even had to sweet talk Jase into not trusting anyone in the house.
